There are enough painting apps for the iPad but this next one is special. The Crayola ColorStudio HD app turns your iPad into a coloring book. The app comes with a stylus called the iMarker that looks like a large crayon but is designed to interact with the iPad’s MultiTouch display. The app then treats your iPad like a piece of paper.

The app is actually smart enough to differentiate between a child’s swipes, finger taps, from the input of the iMarker. Pretty slick.

This might turn out to be a big help in getting your child to stop coloring the walls. You’ll probably need another iPad for yourself though.
