As more and more rumors of an Android powered Google Phone emerge there have been some interesting facts discovered that may or may not confirm the rumors.
Google recently confirmed that some employees are testing a new device powered by Android 2.1. If you go to the Android site and browse “Dev Phones”, you’ll see images of two phone models which could very well be the much talked about Google Phone.

Here’s a part of Google’s statement about their new test device:
We recently came up with the concept of a mobile lab, which is a device that combines innovative hardware from a partner with software that runs on Android to experiment with new mobile features and capabilities, and we shared this device with Google employees across the globe. This means they get to test out a new technology and help improve it.
So will we have an actual Google Phone sold by the search giant in the near future? We’ll see.
