There are quite a bit of converters available for audio and video files. Some are pretty good but you’ll have to sort through different sites for user reviews that may or may not be true. If you just want a converter for your media files without having to spend time looking for one, you’re in luck.

Format Factory is a free audio and video converter for Windows. It even converts image files.

Video files can be converted to MP4, 3GP, MPG, AVI, WMV, FLV, and SWF.

Audio can be converted to MP3, WMA, AMR, OGG, AAC, and WAV. Last but not the least, images can be converted to JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF, ICO, GIF, and TGA.

For those who are wondering, Format Factory supports formats used by the iPhone, Blackberry, PSP, and iPod. It even includes a DVD ripper.

Format Factory runs on all Windows versions.
